We are looking for an individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconciliation: Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure financial statements reflect the true financial position of the company.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, variance analysis, and budget preparation.
- Payroll Support: Process and verify payroll data for night shift staff and contractors as required.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems and ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulations.
- Communication: Liaise with other departments to resolve discrepancies and answer financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage; Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, excellent attention to detail, and solid problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and management.
