Responsibilities
- Perform accurate bookkeeping and financial data entry using QuickBooks and Excel
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
- Support audits by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Communicate financial insights clearly to senior team members
- Utilize accounting software to maintain organized financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
