Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger entries
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Implement and improve accounting processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA candidates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions, PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software knowledge preferred
