Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor management
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Implement and improve internal controls for financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships/co-ops acceptable)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
