Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Support tax compliance activities and document management
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Intuit) for data entry
- Prepare financial reports for client review
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in financial matters
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification (company-sponsored)
- Valid driver's license for occasional client meetings
