Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and external audits.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support the finance department with ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
