Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Support the tax preparation process by organizing financial documents and data.
- Conduct internal audits and assist in the implementation of internal controls.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting principles.
