Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports, invoices, and expense summaries.
- Support the senior accounting team during monthly and year-end audits.
- Assist in the preparation of sales tax filings and local compliance reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (formulas and data analysis).
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in numerical data.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
