Apex Financial Solutions is looking for a dedicated Entry-Level Accountant to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. We provide comprehensive training for candidates with little to no prior accounting experience.
As our new Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our senior accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to learn new accounting software (training provided).
- Professional demeanor and strong verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
