Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and the general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and reporting.
- Organize and file financial documents, invoices, and receipts efficiently.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) as you grow.
