Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and data entry with high accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and expense categorization.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable departments.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and invoices.
- Assist the senior accounting team with month-end closing procedures.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications (on-the-job training provided).
