Responsibilities
- Assist with full-cycle bookkeeping for small to medium businesses
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable using QuickBooks Online
- Perform bank reconciliations and transaction tracking
- Support tax preparation and audit documentation processes
- Generate financial reports for client reviews
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Accounting preferred)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new software quickly (QuickBooks training provided)
- Valid Oregon driver's license (client travel required)
