Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordination with external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to analyze variances and improve financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
