Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily data entry and reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by gathering necessary documentation.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the annual audit process.
- Reconcile discrepancies in financial data and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
