As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will work closely with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or career changers to build a solid foundation in accounting without prior experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Financial Operations: Support the accounting team with data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable tasks.
- Reconciliation: Help reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Month-End Close Support: Contribute to the preparation of trial balances and basic financial statements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and attitude over history.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills.
