Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry and bookkeeping tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and coding.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Enthusiasm to learn new accounting software and procedures.
