Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform data entry and maintenance of general ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts accurately.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close processes.
- Support the tax preparation team with document collection and organization.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial records.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for learning new software and accounting systems quickly.
