Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the general ledger and accounts payable/receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform basic data entry and filing duties.
- Support the accounting department with ad-hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and math.
