Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll data and ensure accurate tax withholdings and deductions.
- Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports for compliance and accuracy.
- Compliance: Assist in internal audits and ensure all financial processes adhere to regulatory standards.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct basic financial analysis to assist management in decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree with expected graduation within 6 months).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
