As an Entry Level Accountant, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in a professional environment, working closely with our senior team to ensure the accurate and timely financial reporting of our diverse client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain basic financial reports, ledgers, and general ledger entries.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Organize and file physical and electronic financial documents for easy retrieval.
- Support the finance team during month-end close procedures.
- Identify discrepancies in financial records and report findings to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (comprehensive training provided).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting and finance field.
