Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of monthly financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering necessary documentation.
- Perform routine data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and tax filings under supervision.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Professional, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
