Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Support tax documentation preparation and compliance filing
- Manage expense reports and vendor invoicing
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification (company-sponsored)
- Valid Indiana driver's license (for occasional client meetings)
