Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Support external auditors by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional designation is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
