We are looking for a motivated individual to join our finance team and ensure the accuracy of our financial records while driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and monitor receivables to ensure timely and accurate cash flow.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience is preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
