Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements and monthly reports.
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors while managing cash flow.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes with detailed data entry.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to manage financial data.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of professional experience (Internships are highly considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Florida or work from our Kansas City office.
