As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with senior financial analysts to maintain accurate financial records, assist with month-end close processes, and support the preparation of financial reports. Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Prepare basic financial statements and reports for management review.
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and annual audits.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree with graduation date within 6 months).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
