We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our Columbus, Ohio team. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with our senior finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support our daily operations. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and spreadsheets.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and audits.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
