Responsibilities
- Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash advances with 100% accuracy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service and financial product recommendations
- Resolve account discrepancies and investigate fraud claims following strict security protocols
- Balance cash drawers and daily transactions while adhering to internal audit requirements
- Actively cross-sell bank products including checking accounts, loans, and credit cards
- Uphold all compliance regulations including BSA/AML and KYC procedures
- Train new tellers on branch operations and customer service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or cash handling role
- Proven ability to maintain 100% cash drawer accuracy in high-volume environments
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and financial products
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficiency in banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Valid New York State Notary Public license or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- College degree in finance or business preferred
