The Role:
As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will work closely with our senior team to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes and audit schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain accurate financial records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match) is mandatory.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
