Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and ledgers.
- Process payroll entries and assist with payroll tax filings.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Perform general data entry with a high degree of precision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace for remote training (if applicable).
- Willingness to obtain relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) within the first two years of employment.
