Responsibilities
- Assist with daily financial transactions and record-keeping.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Prepare basic financial reports and schedules for management review.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Perform routine audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles is a plus.
