Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and accruals
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions while ensuring compliance with policies
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to record and analyze financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data analysis)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and basic accounting concepts
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
