Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Conduct internal audits to verify financial data integrity
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and analysis
- Support budget preparation and variance reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software exposure preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
