Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end close process and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Prepare and issue invoices, bills, and purchase orders.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding account balances and payments.
- Assist in the annual audit preparation and compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in number crunching.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
