The Role
As our Entry Level Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in our daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and posting of daily journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process with detailed reporting and analysis.
- Prepare basic financial statements, income statements, and expense reports for management review.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with tax preparation filings and compliance requirements.
- Conduct research on accounting standards and assist in resolving billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree with expected graduation date).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
