Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes including invoice verification and payment processing
- Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP) for data entry and report generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience through internships or part-time roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with collaborative mindset
