Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by compiling documentation and responding to inquiries
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for data entry and report generation
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes for client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA candidates preferred)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience, including internships or academic projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in numerical data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
