Responsibilities
- Perform accurate bookkeeping and reconciliation of financial accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Adhere to GAAP principles and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (for client visits)
