Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of financial statements and audit documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial data for accuracy
- Support tax compliance processes including quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Conduct data entry and maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks and SAP
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in client meetings and draft professional financial reports
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and accounting standards through continuous training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with GAAP and basic tax regulations
- Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work independently
- Valid CPA exam eligibility or partial completion preferred
