Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process and verify financial transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage)
- Prepare financial statements and reports under supervision
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Manage expense reports and vendor invoices
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- No prior experience required—recent graduates welcome
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in data handling
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
