Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and financial summaries for internal review and client approval.
- Monitor customer accounts and take proactive action to minimize delinquency risk.
- Communicate findings and decisions clearly to underwriters and loan officers.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the company database and CRM systems.
- Assist in the development and improvement of credit scoring models and policies.
- Conduct regular audits of credit files to ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or data entry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
