Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain corporate compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor changes in regulatory legislation and advise leadership on necessary adjustments.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations and internal control weaknesses.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports to government agencies.
- Train employees on compliance standards and ethical business practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing.
- Strong knowledge of SOX, HIPAA, or industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
