Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support general ledger maintenance and data entry tasks
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and other compliance documents
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client projects and audits
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for daily operations
- Conduct basic financial analysis and variance reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification (optional but encouraged)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
