Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-growth startups
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios monthly
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state)
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online with advanced automation
- Collaborate with CFOs on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Audit financial records quarterly and implement internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years bookkeeping experience with SaaS or tech clients
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance (CA, IL, NY)
- Proficient in Excel, Xero, and ERP systems
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
