Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and receivable transactions and ensure timely processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by gathering and verifying data.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and organize financial documents.
- Assist in auditing financial records and preparing required audit schedules.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to generate and analyze financial reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional office travel.
