Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99.8% accuracy
- Assist in monthly/quarterly financial statement preparation using QuickBooks and SAP
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis for 15+ client accounts
- Support annual audit processes by gathering documentation and preparing schedules
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Adhere to GAAP standards and evolving IRS compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2023 graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and/or Sage 50
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (demonstrated through coursework)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years internship or academic project experience preferred
