Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank account reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and maintaining organized financial records
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry, reporting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong formula skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in numerical data handling
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
