Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under supervision.
- Prepare and organize documents for federal and state tax filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with internal and external audits.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to log transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently completing the degree).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or a strong internship background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
