Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision using QuickBooks and Sage software
- Assist in month-end closing procedures including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and reports under senior accountant guidance
- Support audit preparations by organizing documentation and schedules
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 employees bi-weekly
- Monitor expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
- Contribute to process improvements in accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
