Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse clientele
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with precision
- Assist in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support tax preparation and documentation requirements
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of Michigan tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
